Brampton man charged after Peel police seize drugs and gun

A Brampton man is facing several charges after Peel Regional Police recently seized a gun, ammunition, drugs and cash.
Officers with the Specialized Enforcement Bureau with the assistance of the Strategic Tactical Enforcement Unit conducted search warrants on Friday, Nov. 26 — one at a residence in the Hurontario Street and Wanless Drive area of Brampton and the other in Kitchener.
Police said they located and seized a 9 mm Glock Model 19 semi-automatic gun, ammunition, fentanyl, methamphetamine and cash.
A 22-year-old Brampton man has been charged with possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime, among other charges.
