PF arrests man who participated and filmed gang rape of a child

The suspect was arrested in the third phase of Operation Desvelado, who found the video on the Deepweb. A total of three suspects were identified.

The Federal Police launched this Tuesday (8/3), the third phase of Operation Desvelado, focusing on combating child sexual abuse and the dissemination of pedophile content on the internet. A suspect was arrested after police identified a video posted on the Deepweb containing pornography involving children. In the images, the man was caught practicing gang rape against the victim, a resident of the interior of São Paulo.

In the earlier stages of the investigation, the police managed to locate another suspect, responsible for creating and administering the largest forums in Portuguese, dedicated to child pornography on the Deepweb. The criminal was arrested, prosecuted, and sentenced to more than 106 years in prison.

This time, through the Cyber ​​Crime Repression Group, Federal Police experts used forensic techniques and broke a strong encryption system on the DeepWeb, identifying the new suspect. So far, as a result of investigations, three criminals have been arrested. Five victims were located, all children.

The crime of producing child pornography images provides a penalty of 2 to 6 years of imprisonment. On the other hand, the rape of the vulnerable provides for 8 to 15 years in prison, and its publication carries a penalty of 3 to 6 years.
