Drug courier caught in rear-end collision with more than 100 kilos of drugs in the trunk

The police have caught a drug courier with 100 kilos of drugs in a rear-end collision.

A rear-end collision between two cars took place on Randweg Zuid in Nederweert on Thursday evening, with one of the vehicles turning out to be a non-legal vehicle without registration.

The driver, a 21-year-old Pole, was taken to the police station where he was taken into custody for further investigation.

When inspecting the trunk of the vehicle, police discovered more than 100 kilos of (presumably) drugs.

Further investigations led to a garage in Weert, where additional kilos of suspected drugs and drug-related goods were found.

Forensic Investigation will now have to determine exactly which drugs are involved.
