Quantity of drugs seized in Derry N.I.

A quantity of drugs has been seized in Derry.

Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a search by virtue of Warrant in the Waterside area of the City on Friday evening.

As a result of the search, a quantity of Class B and C drugs was seized.

A male was also arrested.

Police say that they will continue to carry out proactive searches and remove the substances and individuals that would bring harm to the community.
