Employees of the Post Intervention Team (PIT) of the national unit of the police arrested five men on Tuesday on suspicion of large-scale export of soft drugs, among other things.

After the arrests, a total of 13 searches were carried out.

The suspects came into the picture because, according to the detectives, they sent messages via Encrochat and Sky ECC. These messages were decrypted by the police.

The suspects are said to have sent packages of drugs to the United Kingdom on a large scale. The thirteen searches were carried out in homes, garages, sheds and farms.

Officers found 500 grams of weed, a money counting machine, a vacuum press and a carbon filter, which can be used for air purification at a cannabis plantation.

They also found a firearm, ammunition and explosives in the form of TNT. In addition to the prohibited goods, approximately 100,000 euros in cash, bank balances and cryptocurrencies were also seized, as well as real estate, twelve vehicles, a water scooter, valuable watches, illegal fireworks and digital data carriers.
