Two injured men rescued after they were allegedly kidnapped in Melbourne


Three men have been charged over an alleged kidnapping in Melbourne’s south-east that left two men hospitalized with injuries this morning. Police received reports that two men had been assaulted at a Noble Park home and attended the property on Agnes Street. Officers found two injured male victims at the home who had allegedly been falsely imprisoned.

The victims, a 31-year-old man from South Yarra and a 20-year-old man from Camberwell, were taken to hospital.Armed Crime Squad detectives charged three men, a 35-year-old from Noble Park, a 29-year-old from Berwick and a 22-year-old from Dandenong North, with several offences including armed robbery, false imprisonment and intentionally causing injury. They have been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.Police also arrested a 34-year-old Berwick man, however, he has been released pending further enquiries.
