Three guns, illicit drugs and a mace seized by police as Hells Angels member arrested on NSW central coast


Officers from Strike Force Raptor have arrested a 51-year-old Hells Angels member after police found a mace, three guns and illicit drugs at a home on the NSW central coast.

A member of the notorious Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle gang has been charged by NSW Police after they seized several weapons, illicit drugs and a poker machine.

Officers from Strike Force Raptor charged the 51-year-old Hells Angels member on Wednesday after they searched a home at Doyalson North on the NSW central coast.

During the search officers seized a mace and three guns including a double barrel sawn-off shot gun and two rifles in addition to large amounts of ammunition.

The 51-year-old man who is a member of the Hells Angels bikie gang has been charged with 14 firearm and drug-related offences.

Officers also seized Hells Angels paraphernalia, a quantity of ice, cannabis seeds and an electronic storage device with all items to undergo further forensic investigation.

The man was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with 14 firearm and drug-related offences and was refused bail.

The man will face Wyong local court on Thursday.

NSW Police have also asked anyone with any further information to come forward.

Cannabis seeds, ice, a poker machine, three guns, an electronic storage device and a mace was seized by police at the central coast home.

Strike Force Raptor, which carried out the arrest, was established in 2009 before it became a standalone squad in 2021.

The Raptor Squad works to counteract, prevent and investigate any network or individuals engaged in serious organised crimes.

The Hells Angels member is facing the following charges:

  • Possess prohibited drug
  • Possess shortened firearm without authority
  • Acquire prohibited firearm – subject to prohibition order
  • Not keep firearm safely – prohibited firearm
  • Not keep firearm safely – not pistol (x2)
  • Possess or use prohibited weapon without a permit
  • Be in unauthorised possession of approved gaming machine
  • Possess unregistered firearm – not pistol (x2)
  • Acquire firearm – subject to prohibition order (x2)
  • Possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority
  • Acquire ammunition subject to prohibition order
