Previously wanted man named suspect in Adelaide shooting


Police suspect 33-year-old Dylan Robert Michelsen was the gunman involved in a shooting on Saturday.

The gunman police suspect is responsible for a home shooting in Adelaide’s north has a lengthy history of criminal activity, including 17 alleged breaches of bail.

Police have named 33-year-old Dylan Robert Michelsen as the fugitive gunman wanted over a shooting attack in Elizabeth Grove, which left a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

A warrant for Michelsen’s arrest was issued back in 2013, and most recently, the man faced court over a string of charges including theft and the illegal use of a motor vehicle.

Police are asking for the publics help in locating fugitive Dylan Robert Michelsen.

Police believe his alleged offending escalated on Sunday morning, when he opened fire at the residential property.Police took to the sky overnight using their helicopter to search over Davoren Park, while officers stormed a home at Smithfield Plains in an attempt to locate the man.

After several failed search party attempts over a period of three days, police are now pleading for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect.
