Huge hash catch on Catalan coast

On the coast of Catalonia, 2.5 tons of hashish has been seized by the Guardia Civil on a beach. That happened at L’Ametlla de Mar (Tarragona).

Two arrested men were caught red-handed while unloading. They also had more than a thousand liters of fuel with them. While on patrol, officers from the Guardia Civil discovered how a drug boat tried to make landfall on Torrent del Pi beach.

When they intervened, two men were just unloading the bags. The packets of hashish were packed into 77 bundles. 51 barrels of petrol and a van were also seized. The fuel was intended for sailing back to the North African coast.
