Four Queensland men have been charged over the alleged grooming and rape of four children after using social media to contact them over two years. The men, from Mackay in Central Queensland, are charged with 27 offences.”The group of men used social media platforms to contact the victims over two years to both produce and procure child exploitation material and they’ve also made contact offences against these children,” Detective Inspector Tom Armitt said.

The children were all between 12 and 15 years old. Police said investigators had acted on a search warrant at a home in Bakers Creek, where three of the men – were aged 19, 22 and 49 -were arrested.
