Four men arrested after drugs worth €208k seized in Co Sligo, Ireland

Four men have been arrested after gardaí seized suspected cannabis with an estimated value of around €208,000.

The drugs were found following a search of a vacant property in the Ballymote area of Co Sligo in Ireland yesterday afternoon.

During the search, gardaí found a growhouse containing 85 cannabis plants at various stages of growth with an estimated value of around €68,000. Suspected cannabis herb with an estimated value of €140,000 was also discovered.

Two men, both in their 40s, are currently being detained at Ballymote Garda Station, while the other two men, both in their 30s, are currently being detained at Sligo Garda Station.

All of them are being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
