Drugs worth €140,000 seized during Dublin 8 search operation

Gardaí have seized drugs and cash during a search operation in the Dublin 8 area.

Diamorphine, worth an estimated €140,000, and €8,500 in cash was found during the search earlier today

Gardaí say items believed to be stolen were also seized.

The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the Dublin 8 area.

A man in his 20s was arrested and he has since been released without charge.

A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
